By maximizing perimeter weighting, these Callaway X-22 Irons boast an MOI (moment of inertia) that’s 10% higher than their predecessors. The ideal CG (center of gravity) position has been preserved, generating optimal ball-flight trajectories. The Modified Tru-Bore design has been incorporated, dampening vibration for enhanced feel and the tour-inspired head shape has a slightly thinner topline and sole with a large sweet spot for improved aesthetics and forgiveness that will boost any golfer’s confidence.

Callaway X-22 Irons Features:

  • Precision notch weighting raises the MOI while maintaining the optimal CG position
  • Tour-inspired head shape includes a thinner top line and narrower sole
  • Modified Tru-Bore dampens vibration for enhanced feel and performance

The first time using the x-22 irons was a month ago, I felt the irons were very forgiving, so I bought them from you, and now the irons are in my hand, I would go out and play them this week.

These X-22 irons are great and amazing. The irons helped my game, I like what you said to me, and I am vey happy you can give me such excellent clubs.

The Callaway X-22s I tried are stuffed with new ideas, some the familiar technologies, such as the variable thickness face and the distinctive S2H2 hosel, remain. And in keeping with the high-tech approach, they made me feel different.

The X-22 Irons are perfect for the player seeking super game improvement irons. The handicapper of 20 or higher. These clubs have extreme offset and large area - so even mis-hits go pretty far.

Very nice club, the Callaway X-22 Irons have a lower center of gravity and goes seven yards further than my rions. I would recommend callaway to any golfer that wants to lower there handicap.

Didn't even warm-up or ever swing these clubs before. They were great.I replaced my last one and what a difference.the Callaway X-22 Irons make the ball fly.I am very happy with these irons!!!

Personally, I'd buy a couple of hybrids, and purchase the irons from 5Iron on up separately. But the x-22 is not so bad

Ok, so I'll admit that I'm coming off a set of 20 yr old irons. So an upgrade to most any modern set would be a huge improvement. Im 25 yrs old, play 15-20 times a season, and shoot in the low 90s. I hit these X22s at a local golf show along with the newest PING, Taylormade, and Nike irons. Of course it's all personal preference, but these irons were hands down the winner for me. I also read about the X18s, which can be found new for a very reasonable price. Several updates made by Callaway were enough for me to buy the newest irons for this season. I've since had the irons out on the course. They hit long and straight. Very forgiving, that's for sure. Excellent feel, weight, and play. Extremely happy with these irons given the price tag.

I’ve had my X-22’s for almost a year now and love them. I switched from a set of Ben Hogan Apex-pro’s. They were nice, nice looking and not very consistent so I sold them and went with the Callaway.
