Taylor Made Flight Control Technology (FCT)
Change the face angle, lie angle and loft to affect side-to-side flight by up to 40 yards – 8 different club head positions.
How to adjust the R9 - The TaylorMade R9 driver has a small metallic sleeve positioned over the tip of the shaft. The shaft is secured to the club head with a specially made bolt in the bottom of the club head. The FCT bolt is designed to be retained in the well to eliminate the chance of losing it. At the bottom of the sleeve is a ring of small, gear like teeth, which tightly mesh with a second ring of matching teeth within the hosel. You can change the club head's characteristics (face angle, loft, lie) by loosening the FCT bolt, removing the shaft from the head, rotating the sleeve and shaft into a specified position, then locking them into that position within the head with the FCT bolt.

Movable Weight Technology (MWT)
The R9 includes one 16-gram & two 1-gram changeable weights. This allows you to change the clubs center of gravity location to affect side-to-side flight by up to 35 yards. Put the heavy weight in the heel port to promote a draw, in the toe port to promote a fade, and in the middle port to promote a straight flight

  The order is a good buying, the R9 is great, the advanced Movable Weight Technology is what I like most, because it allows me changing the club center of gravity location to affect side-to-side flight by up to 35 yards.

  With the R9 out for almost a full year now, I have been able to do extensive testing and analyzing. The ball speed off of this driver when contacted in the middle of the face is one of the highest ball speeds that we see during fittings.

  I bought this R9 driver mainly due to the upgraded shaft that was installed. The driver is very forgiving, just as what you have told me, now I often use this club, it can very easy to control.

  My friend told me that the TaylorMade golf clubs are very forgiving, and so I want to have a try, after I received the R9 driver, I am very satisfied that the driver is so nice.

  As I a high spin player, I have always needed a low spin driver. However, I also have a downswing tendency to come too far from the inside with trouble releasing the club head in time - result is a straight push or push fade. With most low spin drivers the face is square or open, making it even harder to square the face. Finally, a low spin driver that allows me to have a closed face. Yay!

  Very pleased with this driver,I have gained on average 5-10 yds on my drives. More importantly I am gaining at least 5 yds of roll. This is a significant improvement over my previous driver . Would recommend this R9 Driver to all levels of players.

  I had previously owned an R7 which I was extremely happy with but the new R9 is superior to it. The adjustibility allows you to actually fine tune the driver to your swing. The ball comes of the face just as hot as the R7. would not trade this driver for anything in the world.

  I Played two rounds of golf with this R9 and very satisfied with this driver. A couple of guys in my group tried hitting this club also and they also love hitting it. One guy who just bought a new Ping G15 and tried my R9 said he will sell his Ping and buy one of this R9 Supertri Driver. Excellent club.
